Cook and chef FIFO jobs

Cooks and chefs on FIFO rosters feed the crew in a mine or construction camp, usually in a large commercial kitchen serving breakfast, a pack-lunch and dinner. Ads range from camp cooks and second cooks to head chefs, and many ask for a commercial cookery qualification, food safety knowledge and experience cooking for large numbers. Camp roles are commonly supplied with accommodation, and FIFOWorks shows accommodation and flights only when the ad states them. The roster and fly-out city appear only when the ad states them.

This page is the Cook and chef filter on the jobs board, saved as an address you can share: every open FIFO and DIDO ad whose title fits the role, newest and highest-paying first. The roster, the fly-out city and the licences or tickets are shown on a card only when the ad states them. Where an ad names no fly-out city, the card says the nearest major city is assumed. Where enough ads state a rate, a pay summary above the jobs is worked out only from those stated rates, never from a guess. Pay on each card is the advertiser's own figure, and anything converted from a day rate or a salary is labelled as an estimate. Workers do not pay to search or to apply.
