The board

FIFOWorks publishes fly-in fly-out job information and sorts it by an estimated pay figure. Browsing and applying is free for workers. We do not charge a worker a fee to view a job, apply, or join the email list. Charging a job seeker a fee is not allowed on this board.

Not an offer

A listing is not an offer of employment from FIFOWorks. Pay, roster, flights, accommodation and tickets are shown as supplied by the advertiser or read from a permitted careers page. Estimates are a sorting guide. Check the original ad. The date on the job is when it was posted or last collected.

Recruiters

Recruiter accounts need a work email and an ABN that passes the Australian checksum. An “ABN verified” badge is only shown after the ABN Lookup confirms an active registration. Without that key, the badge is not shown. The optional Queensland labour hire licence is stored and is not treated as verified unless a lookup URL is configured and returns an active result.

The first ad from a recruiter waits for review. After an approval, that recruiter is trusted and later clean ads can go live. Ads that match scam checks stay in review. Free ads last 30 days, are not featured, are not in the weekly email, and have no public stats. Workers apply on FIFOWorks. The recruiter reads those applications in their account. Applications are kept for the retention period in the privacy policy, then deleted with the resume. Premium ads are A$149 excluding GST, last 45 days, are highlighted in a featured strip (not pinned above every other job), can be included in the weekly email, and have view, click and application stats. Prices are in AUD.

You must not post a role that charges the worker, promises a guaranteed job, asks for cryptocurrency or gift cards, or invents a pay rate. Do not send workers to Seek, Indeed or Jora.

Collected jobs

Some jobs are collected from employer or agency pages that permit it. FIFOWorks writes its own short summary, stores structured fields, and links to the original ad. Seek, Indeed and Jora are not sources.

Reports and removal

Anyone can report a job. After three reports from different people the ad is hidden until an admin restores or rejects it. We can remove an ad or an account that breaks these terms.

Liability

To the extent the Australian Consumer Law allows, FIFOWorks is not liable for a hiring decision, a pay estimate, or a third-party site you reach from an apply link. Nothing here excludes a consumer guarantee that cannot be excluded.

Law

These draft terms are intended to be governed by the law of Queensland, Australia.
