Trade assistant FIFO jobs

A trade assistant, or TA, works alongside tradespeople such as fitters, electricians, boilermakers and riggers: carrying tools and parts, setting up and packing down work areas, cleaning up and learning on the job. It is one of the most common first roles in mining maintenance and shutdown work. This page lists ads for trade assistant roles in any state, the same list as the Trades assistant filter on the jobs board. Some TA ads ask for little more than a White Card and a driver's licence. Others want working at heights, confined space or previous site experience. FIFOWorks shows a ticket only when the ad names it and does not guess from the title, so read the description before you apply. The roster, fly-out city, flights and camp are shown when the ad states them. Pay is the rate in the ad, and any hourly figure worked out from a salary or a day rate is labelled as an estimate. Ads with no stated pay sit after the ones that published a rate. Workers do not pay to apply.
