Workings
- A weekday shift pays the base rate for the first 8 hours, time and a half for the next 2, and double time after that.
- Saturday pays time and a half for the first 2 hours and double time after that. Sunday is double time.
- A public holiday on swing pays double time and a half for every hour worked. A public holiday in the R&R period is not paid.
- Annual leave hours are taken out of weekday hours first and paid at the base rate plus leave loading. Sick leave is not included. Weekend and public-holiday penalties use the base rate.
- Tool allowance is paid per day worked. Licence, site and PCB / PIP are paid per hour worked.
- Superannuation at 12% of the cash wage is added to total value. It is not take-home pay.
- Flights and camp, when turned on, are added to total value and are not treated as taxable wages.
- Day shift uses the base rate.
