Good morning/afternoon,
We are currently seeking an experienced NPI Electrician for a FIFO opportunity at FMG Cloudbreak, WA .
We are preferably looking for someone with previous mining/FIFO experience, particularly as we are approaching the hotter months of the year and require someone comfortable working in Pilbara conditions.
Position Details:
- Role: NPI Electrician
- Location: FMG Cloudbreak - Pilbara, WA
- FIFO: From Perth
- Roster: 7 days on / 7 days off
- Pay Rate: $75 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete electrical installations, maintenance, inspections and repairs across site infrastructure.
- Carry out electrical maintenance and fault finding across camp facilities, accommodation, commercial kitchens, laundries and amenities.
- Perform statutory electrical testing and inspections, accurately recording results and identifying defects.
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults with minimal disruption to site operations.
- Follow site safety procedures, electrical standards, permits and isolation requirements.
- Identify hazards, assess risks and maintain safe working conditions.
- Complete maintenance documentation, job reports and shift handovers.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, maintenance teams and other site personnel.
Essential Requirements:
- Current WA A-Grade Electrical Licence .
- Previous electrical maintenance and fault-finding experience.
- Previous mining/FIFO experience strongly preferred.
- NPI maintenance experience across camp infrastructure, kitchens, laundries and accommodation highly regarded.
- Current CPR/LVR and Senior First Aid.
- Working at Heights and EWP tickets.
- Strong understanding of electrical safety, statutory testing and isolation procedures.
- Current National Police Clearance (NPC), or ability to obtain one.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening.
